field trips!

yesterday, we learned how to grade restaurants based on their hygiene and stuff, and we made a visit to a restaurant. its very clean, so its grade A.

then we visited a sanitary landfill, which is the nice name for the dumpster. my lecturer said its supposed to be processed daily but that dumpster is just processed weekly, so there were BAD smell, flies and vultures! lol, ok, they're just some white birds, no vultures (T.T).

and today we learned about occupational hazards so we made a visit to a plywood factory. its pretty hot, dusty and noisy in the factory. i cant imagine the workers had to work there daily for hours and hours! the place is just so dull, its all wood!

then, we made a visit to the water treatment plant. its pretty cool. we learned the steps of how the process river water to clean water. and we got to climb those iron ladders (which was kinda scary coz down there were water tanks and stuff), but still's cool.

and we took loads and loads of pictures. i dunno why. lately im SO crazy about getting my picture taken. i just love cameras X3.

anyways, we're going back to Kuching next week~~ i cant wait to see my desktop PC and the rest of my clothes and shoes that i've left behind! i miss them sooooo much!!! XOXO!

Intervention day! (on last saturday!)

i wanna share about our intervention day. our project is about prevention of home accidents among children. so we did this intervention program at Kampung Selalang, Sarikei, as to educate and giving them awareness of home accidents, the prevention and also first-aid stuff. it was a hell lot of work. so we've been really really busy last week.

so yeah, that morning, we wore our red shirt, and oh yeah, we woke up at 6am coz the journey to the village would take like 45 minutes and we had loads of things to set up and everything. so yeah, i was really like =.= that morning.

when we arrived, we arranged tables and chairs and other stuff. and because our professor changed his talk about home accidents prevention, our beginning of the program was a bit haywire. the lecturers arrived too early and everything wasnt ready yet. so its really messy. we had to run here and there to patch things up. in the end, it turned out well. we performed our Dikir Barat really well (we practiced in about a week!) and we had fun.

after that, the opening ceremony was done and the carnival of home accidents prevention began! there were booths of health screening, exhibitions, and demonstrations. also the dj booth and the games booth which was so popular with the kids. and the kids in the village were so active and friendly. they really like us a lot, and tagging behind us, everyone wanted to talk to us, pulling our hands as we walked, taking pictures with us, shaking hands with us, and asking for our phone numbers and stuff. we kinda felt like stars there XD.

coz i was in the publicity comittee, i was in charge with the banner, posters and pamphlets. i was SO proud to see my arts at display. i even received loads of compliments. i really felt like a true artist :P. so at that time, i've done my work, so i joined the health screening committee. i was asked to take blood pressure, and its fun. i gave advice also XP.

so yeah, its all so fun. i joined a group of kids in the games, where you have to fill in water inside a bottle with a sponge. like you have to soak up the sponge and run to the bottle to fill it up. the first group to fill it up to the brim would win. and guess what? my team won! i was so proud of the kids and their team work~ ^.~

and then at 4pm, the carnival ended. i've managed to join the villagers weekly activity of the Poco-poco dance before we left. its kinda hard at first but once you got the hang of it, its really fun and actually simple to do! its really cool!

and we took loads and loads of pics. and i got a bit of sunburn (even with an SPF47 sunblock!) and its really tiring. but i really had loads of fun, and its really sad when we had to leave. the kids were very sad, some of them even cried. i guess they really like us a lot. they kept on hugging us and asking us to come back anytime soon. its really sad. they really managed to melt my heart down.

all in all, its really fun!!

dont say it if you dont mean it, two-faces

i dunno why, lately the number of people who confided in me has increased. people dissing and talking behind each others back - to me. maybe i seem trustworthy to keep deep dark gossips, and im proud to say i am too.

its just kinda funny that the person everyone's talking about is always the last person to know of that they've been talked about. and sometimes they'd never ever found out about it.

the funnier stuff, i've found out that some people who dissed other about some bad stuff, are being dissed about doing the same stuff that they dissed some other people about. its kinda like the dissing cycle!

thats one of the things that i hate the most in people. its like, im not really perfect and all, but i would never said like, "eating with your mouth open is so freakingly disgusting it makes me vomit a little in my mouth everytime i saw someone do that" when i myself eat with my mouth open. (which i dont!) and thats just an example. what the girls gossiped about with me, are so much more severe than just embarassing bad manner. and dissing people when you yourself do it, its just so hypocritical! why didnt those people realize that? i dont really understand. do they expect me to not evaluate people? i dunno, but thats what i do. or maybe they're not observant as i am.

im so sorry people, for anyone who has done this "say it but i dont mean it" stuff, and i found out about what they're really are, i've lost my respect for you guys.

procrastination is epidemic!

we are having the PBL on food borne disease epidemic tomorrow. and we've known about it for a LONG time! and yet we chose tonight! the night before tomorrow to search for the info. i guess this easy lazy condition is making us weaker and weaker each week! we're weakening week after week. (lol, i love the effect of using weak and week in a sentence XD)

yeah, too much relaxing, IS bad. i guess the stuff about how stuff that doesnt kill us make us stronger IS really true.

oh, i've had a haircut. and i cut it super short. not really super short like a guy's but super short for me. all i need is some hair wax and i can cosplay any anime guy i want. im thinking of L~ X3

reviews on j-drama n anime

i've finished watching Kino no Tabi a quite long time ago. i feel like this anime is actually quite good. as the title said, its about Kino's journey. she travelled to loads of different countries with different beliefs and traditions, and she met loads of different personalities and stuff. this anime kinda tells the gist of how the world is, in my opinion. its kinda cool.

and the j-drama that i've just finished watching few days ago. its Zettai Kareshi aka Absolute Boyfriend. its about a company that made lover robots as to create a perfect love relationship with lonely women. so this company made its first robot and tested it out on a girl. so there the relationship develops and stuff. its a quite romantic drama for me. and i love it! X3 i think Night is really cool and i wish i have such a perfect boyfriend! i know there's no such thing as a perfect man, but a girl can always dream, cant she? ^.^

so yeah, thats all.
