Can you resist The Resistance?

Just finished listening to this album. Its quite good for me, not extraordinarily great like the previous Blackholes and Revelation and Absolution.

all in all, I love Matthew Bellany's vocals, the main signature of Muse. their music is awesome and different like always. and their lyrics, well, they're weird and unique like the usual Muse stuff, in a good way of course. they're mostly singing about morales in scientific metaphors with playful tones. and somehow, quite a lot of the songs in this album are about an evil lover? as in Undisclosed Desires, I Belong To You, MK Ultra, and some of the Exogenesis: Symphony.

there are 3 parts of musical like songs, Exogenesis: Symphony. those 3 parts consisted of a cool fusion of classical orchestra, rock and electronica genres. singing about one theory of creation? where we are? when we are? just the most asked and unanswered questions of all time. they also sang about exogenesis or panspermia, hypothesizing that all living creatures in the universe originated from the same source. for more information, read The Deception Point from Dan Brown XD. I'll love anything related to astronomy :P

Resistance is cool! the first opening felt like you're floating in the middle of the space, then comes the piano, which is so cool~ I think its my most fave song in this album!

United States of Eurasia has some middle-eastern music? felt kinda like in Aladdin or Prince of Persia or something. Its really cool ^^

however, I found MK Ultra, Unnatural Selection and Uprising quite boring. Like I have to force myself to listen to them to the finish and they didn't make me wonder whats next in the songs and of course, it didn't make me want more of the songs, thus, me ended up forcing myself to listen to them.

or perhaps, they're just not the song to listen after a day of classes XD
so, all in all, I'll give it a 4/5 stars. Maybe if I could listen to them more and understand all the lyrics, they'll all be funner? XD

Just a-whatever-review from me :P

Maou

I just finished watching this drama (despite the guilt that I should've studied more..huhu)

Synopsis from DramaWiki - Maou
This drama is a remake of the popular suspense drama The Devil that was aired in Korea last year. Ohno Satoshi will be playing the role of a two-faced lawyer, one of which is a kind hearted soul and the other who is plotting revenge, using his brilliant mind, on the person who killed his relative. On the other hand, Ikuta Toma will play the double lead role of the man, who has become a detective due to his dark past, who is pursuing the mysterious series of murders and fighting against the devil (maou).

hum... overall, the story's quite good, nice performance from Ohno Satoshi and Ikuta Toma~ the story's quite serious and some very tear-jerking. though I cant help but get annoyed with some things:

1. the detectives were getting help from a psychic girl who could see "afterimage" of objects - this i think is like an unnecessary addition. I dunno, its just me, i just dont like seeing something not scientific in investigations i guess.
2. when someone's being stabbed/shot/bleeding/dying, wont anyone has the reflex to try as hard as they can to save that someone?? its just not this drama, most drama is like that, like when they see someone being stabbed/shot/bleeding/dying, they just scream or cry beside those wounded people. like, even if i dunno "ABC", i'd just call ambulance or help or something. and people dont just die immediately from a stab wound at the stomach from a 2x5 cm pocketknife.
3. when someone got mad and they started screaming to get their point across -really annoying-

sorry to the drama fans that im being such a spoilsport XD. but seriously, i cant help but to roll my eyes in those annoying scenes.

this drama mostly ventured into the dark side of human. its true that in every human there is a bit of evil, and its kinda like the job of the devil to make human go to the path of darkness. and its also about the balance of defending justice and revenge.

since kakkoi, evil, smart guy is so irresistable to me, I really love Naruse Ryou/Manaka Tomoo here, love the ending, I think it put a nice closure to this character. besides! I really love their hairstyle, no one can do the Japanese guy hairdo other than Japanese guys! and I really love the well-groomed metrosexual look of Naruse-san~ <3

ah, anyways, yeah, overall, i'd give this drama 7/10!

carnival, cake, costume and cute arashi XD

*sigh* i've been really lazy to update my blog. either I'm busy with something or I'm appreciating my free time so much that I couldn't spend some time with my blog. anyways, like usual, the summary of my week(s).

well, starting with 21st July~ (of course XD)
its my 23rd BIRTHDAY! yay~!! *also coincided with with the day a man first walked on the moon! isnt that SUPER cool!!* anyway, since it fell on Tuesday, and its been really hell of a busy week in the Maternity ward, we decided to celebrate my birthday this weekend.

==and the rest of the weekdays were pretty much the same, spent loads of time in the ward and had gotten bombarded by the "AK-47" specialist *got demotivated and oh-well-couldn't-care-less attitude for a while -hatred for O&G kinda deepened a bit too for a while-*==

then, weekend!! after IDA, the last class we got for the week, my shoulders kinda like slumped with the lifted pressure. finally got to feel free for a little while, gotta enjoy to the max while I could! the friday night, finished watching Arashi no Shukudai-kun, its a talk show that is hosted by a popular Japanese idol band, Arashi, and its really fun and funny! and they're really cute too! *special thanks to Mel, Aimi and Yula, the UNIMAS fanclub of Arashi for supplying me with Arashi stuff XD*
Saturday, went to Jom Heboh, kinda like a carnival where Malaysian artists came and entertain the crowds, and booths selling super cheap stuff (though some are not really that cheap), oh also there is a haunted house, which I stayed far away from XD. the journey there was kinda stressful, with traffic jams, and trouble finding a parking. I parked at the road side and we had to walk a pretty far distance. and when we arrived at the place, it was really crowded. there were smokes from food stalls and the place was filled with 90% of people with no fashion sense (which totally irritated my eyes). my friends bought some Ribena and Munchy's stuff. I didnt buy anything coz they didnt really appeal much to me. saw some TV artists performing/being taken pics with, and a band I didnt know performed. then, made our way through the sea of crowd back to my car. i dont really like crowded places, thus I made a vow not to go to another Jom Heboh ever.
Sunday, went shopping with my bffs, i wanted to buy some groceries and make ups. ended up buying a white dress too *sigh*. i also helped my friends buying stuff for my little costume party! we cooked spaghetti (thanks to chef Amy-sama XD), I made fruit salad, and we served other stuff like assorted chocs, Munchy's biscuits and some soda. oh, and my birthday cake is from Secret Recipe's, Chocolate Strawberry cake! おいしい~~~!!and then, there were loads and loads of photography session XD. cant upload the pics due to cosplayers discretion~ its SO much fun! actually to be honest, I was worried that it'd be too much of a nuisance to everyone, but I'm really touched by everyone's enthusiasts to dress up for my costume party. thanks everyone!
presents! poor little last-year-birthday-teddy looking from afar XD
oh, and got a cute little tote bag that I've been eye-ing for quite a while (thanks, minna-san! honto ni honto ni DAISUKI!!!! X3), a KNITTED teddy!! like its a first time that i've ever received a handmade knitted stuff, its such a good feeling!! like, a super huge appreciation to the knitting effort. no wonder guys love receiving knitted stuff XD. for this, I'll give 60% support for AiNo! (20 to Mel, and 20 to Yula XD) and special from Sarah, a tiara hair accessory~ pretty, ne~? oh last but not least, a tank top from Dilah, sorry I couldnt take the pic, I already put it in the washing machine at this time! XD

so, all in all, its been really fun! thanks everyone for coming to my party and making my dream of hosting a costume event a reality XD. thanks for everything~ suge kimochi~~!

The Magic of Transforming Mecha~

Yesterday night, my friends and I went to watch Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen.

In the movie section, I'm really very hard to please. I usually have high expectations of the movie and almost always they disappoint me. I love to feel the impact the movies give me, how they excite me, get my adrenaline pumping, give me goosebumps, amaze me, shock me, make me feel like I'm in the movies, and above all, I want to feel THE magic!

and I really felt the magic, I was I was totally smitten by this movie. It was totally amazing, the computer graphic animations of the transformations of the Transformers are sooo fluid-like, so real, SO awesome! and the explosions, the shooting and the fighting, TOTALLY blew my mind!

ah, the feeling~ could it be better than falling in love? XD

this is one of my most favorite new transformers:

its hot pink and I love it! *might wanna re-take my motorcycle license XD*

Arthurification

Hi, I've finished watching some TV series lately, because these first 2 weeks are quite light for us.. hehe
and, I've finished watching Merlin. Its about, well, you know, the Arthurian tales. It differs quite a lot from other versions of Merlin stories that I've watched before. and yes, I do have some interests in those kind of fantasy epic stories. Anyways, this Merlin is about the young Merlin. The story's quite good, though the special effects were not quite at par with LOTR (that'd be really hard to beat though), you can really see that the creatures are fake, and their movements are like some creature made of lego blocks trying to move. Overall, I'd give it a 7/10.

anyways, I really like Prince Arthur~ *so cheesy of me to swoon over a prince XD* yeah, he's a prince, handsome, strong and arrogant. oh, and rakyat-oriented. what a lovely combination XD. and he has this kinda weird misalignment of his upper teeth, but weirdly enough, that made him so much more cuter! i just cant fathom how such a flaw makes him all the more perfect! *kyaa! fangirl mode*. and the english accent! plus the way he swings the sword! *melts* XD

anyways, I read his interview on his character. Bradley James said something like "One of the appeals of playing him is that he is not really perfect. He is not a noble figure to begin with. He is not a so-called hero, and he is not good for the sake of being good. There are flaws to him," and "He will be King one day. So he would not dare allow his friends to see a weaker side. He's expected to be a pillar of strength. There's a stubbornness that comes with that and as a result he is not able to sympathize with other people."

I think i can relate myself to that personality. well, obviously I wont be a King, but I love feeling strong. I dont show the weaker side of me to just anyone. hum..maybe just sometimes XD. and sometimes people said i give cold facts or act without sympathies. Its not that Im not able to sympathize, heck, I have empathy towards people. its just that facts are facts, maybe its just their fault for not being as strong. thus the question is asked "why cant you understand how i feel?" and I'd have to reciprocate, "why cant you understand how I feel?" then again, how is this understanding thingy can be balanced? who should understand who?? well, i guess, people should acknowledge that there are unique and different traits in other people that maybe they cant, they dont have to accept those traits, however, they should acknowledge the existence of those traits and respect them accordingly.

and im not perfect, im well aware of that. but confidence is such a beautiful thing~! ^_^

anyways, due to my obsession with Merlin, here is some footage of Colin's and Bradley's video diaries on the set. I SO love watching those video diaries! they're SOOO funny and cute! *fangirl mode again XD*

p.s: please watch Prince Arthur's/Bradley James' teeth X3

outwit blindside outplay blindside outlast blindside

yup, its the latest season of survivor, this time, its at Tocantins, the Brazilian highlands~
I've watched till episode 11 and its like, one of the greatest season of survivor history!

first, the participants this time are made of very very different characteristics and personalities. they're really colorful and crazy! I kinda like Tyson for being a super good competitor and strategist, and he's funny and arrogant and cuckoo but he's kinda like a nudist, so beware kids. and other characters, i just love the craziness! the true and ugly natures of human are always exposed in reality shows, and of course, mostly on Survivor! much better than fiction!

then, there are SOOO many game plans and blindsides, its SUPER crazy! making alliances, deceits and all, I dunno which one to believe and which not to believe! like seriously, there are quite a lot of surprising votes at the tribal council. I really love surprises!

though some people are really annoying, especially Coach! OMG! I've never met anyone THAT crazy! I really do think that he has some kind of a psychological problem. like he kept telling obvious, obvious lies, like being dropped off by the army at the Amazon jungle, being captured by some tribe, being tortured by them with clubs until near death, escaping because there were loose ropes, then paddling with a kayak away from the dangerous tribe thingy! like, how crazy is that??! and he likes saying all those philosophies and sayings, like samurai or whatever, so that he'd look like, wiser or something, and always meditating or whatever. like, gosh, if thats not psychological i dunno what it is. I SO want him out next!

and I LOVE J.T.~ he's really strong and all, and he's kinda nice except when he's blindsiding people (lol). he's like southern and he owns a ranch, and he admits he's a hillbilly and stuff. he's really cool in the challenges and i think its kinda the first time that I think Southern accent are actually sexy XD. (but Sandy, and old lady that voted out really early also has a Southern accent but she's totally uncool!)

anyways, Survivor's really AWESOME! I cant wait to watch the next episode. Go J.T.~! \^o^/

Terengganu: post-pissed off XD

hi hi~ just some update of my current life!

we've moved out from the hellish house last week. the house owner has inconsiderately determined to make us pay for the inhabitable house. grr... i cant stop getting so pissed off whenever i think about it. never thought this thing would happen to us, a trusted grown-up has betrayed us. so the moral of the story! take charge! never depend on someone you dont know so well! never trust ANYONE! seeing is believing! adults could be messed up & dumb too! NEVER trust anyone, even if they're your friend's family! NEVER!!!

well, i dont really mean to not trust anyone. i trust some people. trust has to be built over time and experience. i mean like, dont ever just trust anyone.

anyways, we've been doing our electives at Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital (i think i got the name right this time XD), at the obstetrics and gynaecology department. we're focusing on the labor ward as we have to fill in our log books.

it was a really nice experience! first of all, the staffs here are VERY nice! only a small percentage is annoying! the nurses greet us and even apologive when bumping shoulders or something, they teach us and all(this is SOOO freaking rare in Sibu Hospital). and they treat patient really well! as opposed to nurses in labor ward in Sibu Hospital where they scolded patients for not doing the pushing thingy so well. i really love this hospital!

and yesterday, I was conducting a delivery, a mother G6P5, i think like, she's a multipara, so the delivery's gonna be a piece of cake. i could never be so wrong! when the baby's head was out, i tried to pull the rest of the baby's body out but it was really hard! then the nurse helped me but she also failed. i totally freaked out! then they called other doctors. Mel found some doctors going out to eat and told them the baby was stuck. and they literally dropped everything and ran to the patient. i jumped to the side and let them save the baby. its really chaotic! though its kinda exciting to watch them running to the rescue. and the baby's safe~! ^_^

and i have fun watching and playing with the babies! they're SOOO cute! i'm still learning how to hold a baby, because i think its really hard to hold a baby properly because they look so fragile and im afraid that i'd drop them or something!

also, i've learned that though the birth is like one of the most miraculous thing, its like the beginning of a life or something, its definitely not the easiest thing in the world. the pain and all, i've witnessed the proof that women are definitely stronger than men! XD

though its really sad that not all kids appreciate this huge sacrifice. if only they knew what their mothers had faced giving life to them, they'd appreciate their parents better.

anyways, yeah, im loving this new place. its perfect! the owner who's an old lady, is REAALLY nice! i think she's like 50-60 years old? and she's cool! like, she travelled all around the world, she wears cool clothes that old women here wont really wear, she speak cool phrases and she even had gone snorkelling! and she's really nice! and she cooks really well! im SOOO glad that i've moved out of the stupid inhabitable shack with stupid greedy money-minded stupid owners to this really nice place.

and Terengganu has loads of nice food. my diet is SO totally busted :'(
oh and their weekends are Friday and Saturday! how weird is that?! i totally love having an early weekend. and there are no Monday Blues here! XD

anyways, i'll update more later. keep on forgetting to get pics from Mel's camera XD

oh oh, last but NOT least! I've watched Grey's Anatomy! until episode 19 for now. i really LOVE the medical stuff they're adding on. made me love GA again. and at first, i kinda love watching Christina with Hunt. I love how they use small gestures. its SOO romantic. but Hunt's pretty messed up. I hope he got a PTSD treatment. and THE proposal Derek made for Mer, is just soooo romantic! *melts*but, i super hate Lexi, i hate the interns, hate those unnecessary additions!

oh, and I just watched House epi 19! that's FREAKY! its about the locked in syndrome, like being locked inside your own body. thats the scariest thing ever! I SO love House!

me busy bee

hi hi~ hisashiburi da ne~

I've been quite busy lately, with the clinics in the morning, seminars in the afternoon and our project and all. so yeah, my free time is usually used with relaxation and recreation. poor bloggie has been neglected XD.

anyways, it really feels like time is flying super fast pass us. it felt just like yesterday i had the monday blues and tomorrow's friday, its almost weekend. next week, we're gonna have an exam on Thursday, thus thats the last day of our 4th year study! unbelievable, ne? I'll be going off to Terengganu by next week, we're gonna stay there for like 5 weeks or so, and then I'll be going home for the holiday and like, by June, i think, we're gonna return as a final year student! the past 4 years kinda feel like a dream, somehow.

tomorrow's the presentation for our study. cant wait to get it over with. really dislike these kinda stuff!

i still need to read a LOT of stuff. feels like im still at the rock bottom now. tasukete~! (influence of anime is making me use Japanese words XD)

speaking of which, I'm watching a bit of D.Gray-Man now, its a nice anime. its about exorcists in an organization trying to collect a powerful thing named Innocence and destroy creatures named Akuma so to save their souls (they are made from dead people with dark magic or something). though it kinda reminds me of FMA and bleach because the character looks kinda like Ed Elric, and he has a special arm thingy. and the people that works in the organization kinda reminds me of the alchemists. and Bleach, the similarities are like, the exorcists = shinigami, Innocence = zanpakuto, akuma = hollows (akuma also has levels and evolutions), and the akuma is a thing produced from dead people. though D.Gray-Man's setting is more modern than one of Soul Society's. all in all, this anime is quite nice, I think I'm getting hooked XD. hope it wont be disappointing~

oh, I've also just finished reading the latest Claymore manga chapter. hum...its getting more and more complicated, with a new arrival of scary creatures. cant wait to read the next chapter~

hum..what else do I wanna say? its like so annoying when you're speechless when you want to write something, but when you cant write it down, the thoughts all coming down on you.

anyways, i think thats all for now. jaa ne~

Monday, March 23, 2009

my eville hero XD

the latest episodes of Heroes are getting more awesome and more awesome! though its really annoying because I dunno what Nathan's plan actually is, and he's really stubborn and all about it. I'm sure there's something else behind his motives!

also, these episodes also told about Sylar's pasts, which were pretty tragic and all. and the visit to his long lost father. i WAS expecting an epic battle against father and son XD, but its pretty cool how Sylar tricked his father and won!

since Nathan's plan is redeemed as evil right now, so I'm rooting for Sylar! I have a thing for bad guys in movies, as long as they are hot, powerful and a genius~ XD
kowaii to kawaii~ XD

Another Heart Calls!

Um.. I dont usually post some lyrics in my blog but I'm just SOOO in love with this song right now! its from the All-American Rejects latest album. "When the World Comes Down". Other songs are pretty awesome too, like "Mona Lisa", "Real World", uh, I think I just love all the songs in this album! Anyways, I love Another Heart Calls the most! The female vocals in this song are from a duo named The Pierces. They have really great vocals! *love* X3

The music is really cool and catchy, and Tyson's and The Pierces' vocals harmonizes so well! I really love their combination, plus the lyrics are so awesome and sweet. So, here it is~

Another Heart Calls - The All-American Rejects

Do you remember when we didn't care?
We were just two kids that took the moment when it was there,

Do you remember you at all?
Another heart calls,

I remember when we stole the night,
We lie awake but dreaming 'till the sun would wash the sky,

Just as soon as I see you,
Didn't I, didn't I tell you,
As deep as I need you,
You wanna leave it all,

What can I do?
Say it's true,
Or everything that matters breaks in two,
Say it's true,
I'll never ask for anyone but you,

Talk to me,
I'm throwing myself in front of you,
This could be the last mistake that I would ever want to do,
All I ever do is give,
It's time you see my point of view,

Just as soon as I see you,
Didn't I didn't I tell you,
As deep as I need you,
You want to leave it all,

What can I do?
Say it's true,
Or everything that matters breaks in two,
Say it's true,
I'll never ask for anyone but you,

I know you want to figure it out,
And God knows I do too,
What can I do?
Say It's true,
I'll never ask for anyone but you,

I'm sorry,
So what?
But you don't think I've said enough,
I'm sorry,
I don't care,
You were never there,

Just as soon as I see you,
Didn't I, didn't I tell you,
As deep as I need you,
You wanna leave it all,

What can I do?
Say it's true
Or everything that matters breaks in two
Say it's true,
I'll never ask for anyone but you,

I know you want to figure it out,
And God knows I do too,
What can I do?
Say it's true,
I'll never ask for anyone but you,

I'll never ask for anyone but you
I'll never ask for anyone but you
I'll never ask for anyone but you
I'll never ask for anyone but you
I'll never ask for anyone but you

confessions of a shopaholic - SOOO me! XD

I've finished reading this book this morning, and no surprises! I'd TOTALLY understand what she's going through, though I don't have credit cards at the moment. I thank GOD for that, dunno whatever would happen to me if I own a credit card or two XD. but seriously, this book really epitomized a shopaholic!

Why I shop?
1. its TOTALLY the cutest thing ever, I'd DIE if I dont own it
2. its SALE
3. i swear i wont shop for a month (NEVER works XD)
4. i deserve to treat myself (yeah, like for not shopping for like 2 weeks or so?)
5. life's too short without that top/shoes/whatever
6. im bored, i need something new
7. had a long day, need retail therapy
8. i passed a cloth on display and its begging me to buy it XD
9. i peeled myself off something, patted my back for the success of resisting the temptation but found myself thinking about the thing for days until i finally went back to the store and get it.

and the list goes on and on, shopaholics always, always find reasons (more like excuses!) to shop. sometimes I even like, pass a freaking furniture shop or whatever and found me asking myself, "is there something i need in there?", and it feels weird if i went in a store and coming out empty-handed.

its really troublesome, with my student life, im living off of my scholarship and allowances from my parents. thankfully scholarship for medical students is the highest! hehe. I SO can't wait to get my own paycheck and like, "oh, i've just spent $1000 for the clothes and shoes..hmmm... its okay, i'll have more money next month!" dreaming is sooo fun! XD

anyways, I really need to exercise some self-control now. i should NOT not go shopping, but i think i can reduce it for now. wish me luck! ^.^

vacation is a faraway dream *sigh*

hi hi! yeah, its been really busy! dermatology is quite a busy busy posting. loads to read, loads to revise -.-;;
however, today, the afternoon class was postponed, so my friends and i went to watch "Watchmen". its a superheroes movie, directed by "300" director. hum.... i dont really like this movie. i dont really get it. all i know is, its mainly focused on human's ugly natures, corruptions and there were loads and loads of violence. i dunno, i just dont get some of the parts. urgh! so not worth my afternoon and money =.=

though sometimes it crosses my mind that maybe annihilation is a way to help this world. kinda like hitting the restart button. cleansing the earth from scums and all. then again, the question would be "who deserves to remain alive?" and "who deserves to be erased from the world?", thus making the whole process a lot harder than the idea. whatever, it could get deep. i dont wanna get too much in it for now XD.

and, yesterday and today, it rained. the weather got reaaally cold. now too. in the evenings, when we played volleyball, the sky went really dark, the wind were blowing, there were lightnings and thunders, and some drizzle too, sometimes. its kinda freaky but fun to play in such weather XD. feels like the scene in twilight where the vegan vampires were out playing superpower softball with supermassive blackhole in the background XD. oh, and i've improved somehow, its so cool! ^^ and my arms hurt less now though they still hurt a little bit now and then. weird ne? like, our body can adapt to such change in a really short time?

aanyways, i have an aim to like, learn as many sports as i can, and so far i've learnt:
1. netball
2. basketball
3. badminton
4. pingpong
5. volleyball
6. futsal (only played in a tournament once and its pretty funny XD)
7. bowling (is this even considered a sport? XD)

hum..what else? cant think of anything. ah, i'll just update the list later whenever ^^v

oh and my brother Noem, got 8 A's and 2 B's for his SPM. though he did not beat my results, thats quite good. congrats to Noem-chan~

so yeah, think i should update my bloggie before finishing my seminar presentation and going to sleep on such fine weather~ ^.^~~

Dan Brown's new movie and book!

okay, so maybe I was kinda late to find out about these things >.<

I was flipping Sony magazine when OMG, I found out that Angels and Demons, one of my most favorite books, is made into film and it'll be out in May this year~! it should great! they even had to reconstruct the Vatican City in California as the film production is banned in the real Vatican City after the Da Vinci Code! how cool is that?! I hope it would be better than the Da Vinci Code though, that movie's just so-so to me, and like, I've never pictured Robert Langdon being Tom Hanks! I've always liked Angels and Demons better than the Da Vinci Code, so please don't disappoint me~!! (i love the ambigrams! X3)

I know Dan Brown's books are quite controversial, especially in the religious setting, but I think it all depends on how people accept things. like, doctors dealing with infective diseases doesn't mean they'd get infected, ne? (lol, some metaphore). anyways, different people have different thoughts. some people got very defensive and got insulted easily when talking about religions. its like, people is always finding faulty things, like if you accepted everyone's opinions about cars, you probably wouldn't buy one forever! so yeah, for me, we don't have to get insecure about ourselves and people always, always have the tendencies to focus and exaggerate on bad stuff (humans are like vultures to misery, a quote from i-cant-remember-where), so you'll have to accept that part of a human being! and there are always stuff that people cant agree with together. so i think its okay to listen to what people are saying though it doesn't mean you have to like/follow/accept everything.

okay thats me rambling XD, so yeah, and the new book from Dan Brown is The Solomon Key. its about Robert Langdon's 3rd adventure. can't wait to get my hands on it! X3

A Dirty Carnival

Just now I just watched this movie. Its one of the most TRAGIC movies I've ever watched! (maybe coz I don't watch many sad movies) Like, sad is not enough to describe it. its more to like, the epitome of tragedy.

The movie's about the life of a Korean gangster who'd gotten involved in the world of gangsters because he wanted to take care of his ill mother and poor family. However, he got sucked into the vicious cycle. He wanted out, he wanted to marry his childhood lover. He longed for happiness.

Okay, I'm not gonna spoil this movie, and I'm just still sad over this movie. It really IS tragic!

Its a story about loyalty and betrayal, determination, acceptance and love. This movie is kinda weird. for example, it didn't really focus on too much details about stuff, like what really happened after Mr. X died? but I dunno why, the movie just kept me watching it. I was really touched with this movie and the character managed to get me attached to the main actor (he's kinda cute too X3) and root for him. Its just that the movie is really tragic. I'm SO touched, I'm like scarred. I still feel like crying whenever I think about it. I'm probably gonna be scarred like this for another month! Its just so tragic! T.T

thats why I dont really like watching those tragic movies, its gonna keep me down for a long time. maybe I'm being too empathic to the characters. I know its just a movie, but I just cant help feeling sad for them! T.T

tragic tragic tragic tragic tragic tragic tragic tragic
(have the word sounded weird to you? XD)

I'm supposed to be studying, but I'm not :P

yeah, I'm gonna have the geriatric exam tomorrow, but I'm feeling really lazy right now. I resent the exam because last night, I studied in my sleep. Its such a nightmare! Like all the facts were spinning around in my head and it really disturbed my sleep =.=

so I woke up, feeling really irritable. lol, i'm kinda always cranky in the morning anyways. anyways, yeah, I got better by breakfast (thanks mel, for the lovely castard puff~)

kk, I'm gonna study after finishing this entry, k~
I wanna write about the Ting Tings, a British duo. The first song I listened from them was Thats Not My Name, I was at a restaurant that time. and my first impression, I HATED ITS GUTS! I was like, wth? is this even a song? (their music's kinda weird for those who've never listened to them before).

but like, some time ago, I watched an Apple ad, and they use Shut Up and Let Me Go by the Ting Tings, and I was like, lets give it a try! I was getting bored of my music collection anyways. So, I got their album~ It kinda took a while for me to adjust to their music, like its really different from what I was listening to. and now, I love them! Katie's vocal is really cool, their music is unique and catchy, and "shut up and let me go" became my favorite quote XD.

*not for conservative ears who are resilient to changes, and results may vary*

stealth, stress and survivor

ahaha~ this video is shown to me by my bestest friend ever, Ida-chan!

@ Yahoo! Video

sooooooooooooooooooo kyawaii~!! X3

okay, I dunno what happened, but I've posted an entry last night! and now its gone?? >.< style="font-style: italic;">we talk about unnecessary stuff and actually asked, if the pain of wearing heels worth it all? *gasp* of course it is! lol, the difference, omoshiroi da ne? XD

and today, mel and i saw a black Nissan Fairlady Z in action!
its SO freakishly super beautiful and elegant. its in the rain and its soooo lustful! i SO want that car! (oops, sorry Venus! i still love you the most! XD)

and finally, survivor. i've been hooked to this series since forEVER! I remember watching the first ever season when i was still in high school. it was a tough life, but my friends and i still wouldnt miss it no matter what. *sigh, such reminiscence!*

anyways, i've just finished watching survivor cook islands, and its super AWESOME!!! I love Yul and Ozzy the most! Yul's more to intelligence, he's the "puppet master" while Ozzy's more to the physical fitness, where he's "virtually unbeatable" in any challenges. he's like the jungle boy! he can swim like a dolphin and climb stuff like monkeys. and at first the tribes were divided according to the race (asians, caucasians, african american and latinas). and it has the most exciting challeges. and it showed that the underdogs can kick ass!!! the moment when they stick together and rose above is just sooo memorable! one of my most favorite season of all.

and gabon is one of the best of course. i love the twists and all. TOTALLY unpredictable! i really think Bob deserved to win, he's like a genius! (amy please dont read this!)

anyways, i think thats all. I NEED TO STUDY! what can anyone do to make me study??
urgh, im logging off now. jaa!

drama drama drama

its been quite busy this week, but hey, thats no news, right?

today, Amy and I went to the depot room in the Psych clinic, its where we give injections to the patients. The nurse, Roselina, was reaaaally friendly and helpful. She taught us a lot of cool stuff, showed us how to give the shots and let us did it. I was actually kinda apprehensive that she let us did all the shots, sometimes without watching us. I was kinda scared that we screwed up! Like I was really scared that I hit the sciatic nerve or something. but everything went well, thankfully. and maybe its our lucky day, there were a LOT of patients today, so both Amy and I got to inject around 15 gluteus maximus each XD. gosh, that was really tiring! anyways, a bonus for you guys, since im an expert now XP :
anyways, i have been watching the latest seasons of my favorite dramas here and there, now and then... and im gonna write some reviews about them ^^

(so, spoiler alert!!)

1. prison break
oh, dont let me start! this show is just too awesome, super cool, super hot, just super! its all about unexpected, unpredicted new turns. its just awesome. cant wait to see what The Company would do next to the brothers. also, strangely, i feel quite sad for T-bag. I knew there was something fishy about the bible seller! But, its REALLY hard to figure out who's good and who's bad here. So, its one show that will always make your adrenaline pumping! XD

2. heroes
my favorite mutants! this season's quite complicated. a lot of new characters coming in, new twists, whats with time travelling, the butterfly effect and all, its made to be more complicated and unpredictable. new, more evil villains are introduced, and the previous villain, once went good and now the status is just unknown. omg, and my favorite scene is when Sylar, the freakiest villain ever, was seen in the future, in the kitchen, wearing an apron and making waffles! its just a cute (this term is subjective XD) scene relative to his reputation. it just made me go "kya~! Sylar!" XD anyways... yeah, at first, its a bit boring, then this show picked up its pace and now i just cant stop watching it. i know the plot is a bit twisted and confusing, but its made a really good effort to evoke the curiosity in me, and play with my head, trying to trick me. i love it. i love the unpredictables!

3. survivor
omg! this reality show just REEKS of drama! i love the challenges, where both mental and physical strengths are needed. and to stay in the game, they'll have to play with trust and betrayal. loads of tricks and strategies, alliances, unexpected turns in the game. this show really knows how to really challenge everything there is to the fullest! the contestants just wont know who to trust and who not to trust. and to trick people, needs a lot of creativity and intelligence. like, the Fang tribe, the once underdog of all Survivor history, nearly wiped out the Kota tribe, who won almost all of the challenges before. its just so unexpected. they really know how to manipulate strong people and bring them down.
I kinda like Bob, he's really strong, even though he's old. and he's a Physics teacher, so he's really intelligent and all. and he's really a genius in coming out with a new strategy. unfortunately he's like the only one of the Kota tribe left, I dunno whats his fate next. I kinda like Matty too, because he's like one of the strongest guy there. but they usually would want to eliminate the strong guys because they felt like strong people are a threat. i wont be happy if Crystal, Kenny or Susie won. I dont like them :(.
i've just watched till episode 10 so far, so i just cant wait to see who THE survivor is!

twilight and the flood

okay, so yesterday, me and my girl friends went to watch some movie. its twilight. as a fan of the vampire genre, i was kinda excited to watch it. but, to my dismay, its such a HUUUGE disappointment. basically, its about vampire x human love. i really hate the dialogues, they're just too monosyllabic and quite meaningless. and the plots, they dont synchronize with each other. its quite boring, dull, and confusing. and there were little or no blood at all, like hello! its a vampire story!! they didnt even show how really powerful and fearsome the vampires could be. basically, the highlight of vampire awesomeness (this is an overstatement) was when they're playing baseball in the middle of the storm. poor Muse, they had their song as a soundtrack for the scene.

oh, one time, the vampire was like, "do you wanna know how we really look like in sunlight??!!" *yelling frantically at the human girl* then, he pulled the girl and ran at high speed to the mountain top, *i was actually had my hopes a bit higher here, anticipating scary gory powerful monster would come out*. but no~! the vampire's skin just sparkled in the sunlight, and the girl said "its beautiful" and the vampire went aggressively (almost to tears, I suppose) "beautiful?? its the skin of a killer!!!" SUPER lame! >.< The only thing Edward's sexy stare can kill was my enthusiasm.

Also, I had to rescue my car from being drowned! You know about the water drainage problem we're having at our college! the water was at my calf-length at the deepest part. it was really crazy! thank God nothing happened to my lovely car! X3

oh oh, i really love Shinigami's Illustrated Picture Book! GOLDEN!! *and byakuya-sama joked about cutting his hair with senbonzakura *SUPER kyaaaaa!!!!* X3*

review on bleach epi 107

im so sleepy right now, so wont type much.
im just surprised that ishida didnt use rao-tan's reiatsu to fire an arrow to kariya. they could have defeated him. then again, of course, its ichigo who would get to beat the boss of the evil guys :P

i just came back from watching Twilight. im so tired and sleepy, so i'll write about it and the flood we had tomorrow. jaa ne!
