Mooncake festival, Amy's birthday and my bloggie's belated birthday~!!

yep, just now we celebrated the moon cake festival, aka mid-autumn festival.
we sang, and played a game called "watermelon" which is kinda weird and hard to explain. its a pretty simple but very funny game! i really enjoyed it. oh and the people who got the signals wrong, or didnt do it properly got punished by air-writing our research topic "home injuries." with their butt! thats totally hilarious!

then we lit some candles and turned off the lights, then we sang some songs, and some guys played guitars. its really romantic..hehe..

then we surprised amy with a birthday song and a birthday cake. its SO fun. and we took loads of crazzy pictures and videos. i might upload them tomorrow or later coz im kinda lazy to upload them right now..hehe.

then, we ate the cake and some mooncakes, they're really yummy! then we played with LANTERNS!!! and i could swing my lantern 360 degrees around, so its really cool! many people didnt dare to do that :P. then we walked on the street under the moon with our lanterns, chatting merrily. thats just SOOO fun~

welcomed to hell

yesterday, we arrived at our new temporary home in Bintangor at around 5 pm. along the journey, i was kinda scared, thinking about our new home, and my friends' tales have been saying the place doesnt look so good coz its an old house. so i was scared at how it looks like. i could be over-estimating or could be under-estimating the house and the town.

and then we arrived at this home... its a semi-detached house. quite big, but the paint looks old and old-fashioned. the surrounding grass is either tall or covered with dry leaves.

and we have bird nests and thus, bird poops in front of our house!

then we opened the door...and everything inside was just.....undescribable by word. its like the combination of horrible, terrible, nasty, disgusting and whatsoever negative and disgusting word you can use here. it kinda looked like a storm just hit the place. at that time, i just hate the college admin for being so mean to the students and gave us a crappy place to live in. like hello? can we study in this ramshackled pigsty??

so, we all cleaned up the place. it was plain TORTURE. everything was horrible and i hated - i hate everything. it took us more than 5 hours to clean everything. and now the house is starting to look half-decent. but still i hate everything. im still in the mental shock state right now. i really need to adapt, so its gonna take some time for me to accept this horrid, horrid place. thank god we're just staying here for 7 weeks.

we took some pics of this house's nastiness but im too lazy to upload them now. for the moment, i just hate this house. hate it! and hate unimas!! >.<

stress helping hands

im in a hell lot of stress right now.
we're making a proposal for our research.
i am in the editing team.
i do reference editing.
i am the last person to edit before the final proposal is born.

IM IN A STRESS!

what more i hate than stress is people saying things that ARE NOT FREAKING HELPING!!

Google Chrome Beta~!

I decided to try this one out, and it turns out to be..FINE~~

Its really compact, simple and usable. the interface is clean, and just cutely simple! the functions are not so bad too, it has the main stuffs tabs, bookmark toolbar, etc. etc. Its also so much more lighter than firefox. I'm starting to be charmed by this cute little thing ^^

The down side, you cant change the theme like firefox.

Could it be....

happy ramadhan!

hi hi, long time no see! i've been veeery lazy to update my blog!

last week, we had our ophthalmology. the exam was quite tough, and i hope i'll pass! the day after the exam, i went back home, to Sibu by flight and to Mukah by a bus! the journey wasnt quite as bad as i thought. the mp4 player i borrowed from Mel malfunctioned (like it died after 5 mins! >.>) so i just slept all the way. i didnt get bus sick and i got a lot of sleep and rest. so yeah, its all good, except when the guy next to me kept elbowing my side and leaning on me everytime when he slept! thats when i hate public transportation!

anyways, at home, i got to rest a lot, and helped take care of my niece. she's really cute, and we call her Aya. I also found out by myself how hard it is to take care of babies. like all the crying, staying up at nights, nappy change etc etc, kinda made me feel like i dont want to have babies! XD but she's just SOOO cute that i feel like pinching her chubby cheeks everytime i see her cute little face!

then we got to celebrate my sister's birthday. it was fun! and i helped my mom cooking a lot, which was also fun!

then im back here again. we're now starting on Community and Public Health posting. its more to society-oriented than clinical. because we're more to demography, epidemiology and stuff. oh and loads of statistics and they're gonna teach us how to make research and to document it. its all those boring boring stuff. and we're really busy with classes everyday. just now i was so sleepy i couldnt concentrate in class, so i played a game named "aquadrop" on Amy's phone. its like tetris but with sea creatures and its funner. i beat Mel's score on my first play and got the 2nd place on my 2nd try. its fun!

oh oh, we just started fasting since september 1st. so happy fasting to all muslims! ^^
